About the company

We are recruiting for our client Bonals. Based in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert, Bonals designs and manufactures special machines dedicated to powder compression, used notably in the production of detergents and bouillon cubes. The company works with clients in France and internationally and offers technical equipment requiring genuine industrial expertise.

Your tasks

As part of its development and in order to strengthen its technical team, Bonals is recruiting an Industrial Wiring Technician - Electrotechnician (M/F), who will work on the electrical wiring of machines, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, both in the workshop and occasionally at client sites. This is a permanent position (CDI) created as part of a new role.

Within the production team, working closely with the automation engineers and the production team, you will manage your interventions with real autonomy, from wiring preparation to testing and machine startup on-site.

In this context, your main missions will be:

  • Perform the electrical wiring of machines and cabinets based on the plans provided, respecting the company's wiring procedures and standards
  • Ensure the connection of various electrical components and verify the compliance of the completed installations
  • Participate in the startup of new machines by loading programs into the PLCs and performing the necessary tests, particularly on inputs/outputs
  • Collaborate with automation engineers during the fine-tuning and commissioning phases of the equipment
  • Perform electrical tests and participate in verifying the proper functioning of machines before delivery
  • Intervene as part of after-sales service (SAV) to diagnose electrical malfunctions, identify their origin, and provide appropriate solutions
  • Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting interventions at client sites, both in France and internationally.

This position offers real versatility, allowing you to intervene at different stages of an industrial machine's life: wiring, testing, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Ideally coming from a Bac to Bac+2 training in electrotechnics, industrial electricity, or industrial maintenance, you have initial experience in the electrical wiring of machines, cabinets, or industrial equipment.

You are proficient in reading electrical diagrams and in wiring and connection operations. You are also comfortable with electrical controls and testing. Experience in commissioning industrial machines and electrical troubleshooting will be particularly appreciated.

Knowledge of automation is expected, notably to intervene during machine startup, load PLC programs, and perform necessary tests. Knowledge of Siemens PLCs would be a plus, as would initial experience with Beckhoff. It is not necessary to be a specialized automation engineer, but you must be comfortable in an automated industrial environment.

Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for an autonomous, rigorous, and organized person, capable of managing their interventions based on the plans and instructions provided. You enjoy field work, know how to take initiative, and demonstrate reactivity when faced with unforeseen events.

Your versatility and team spirit will allow you to collaborate effectively with the production teams and automation engineers.

Proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken, is necessary to communicate with clients during international interventions and to understand technical documentation.

Other

Occasional travel in France and internationally is to be expected, generally for a duration of a few days, and at an average frequency of less than one week per month. Technical English is required.
