Your tasks:

• Development and implementation of purchasing strategies as well as ensuring an economical and timely material supply
• Strategic purchasing of materials and components for Aircraft Maintenance & Repair
• Establishment, further development, and management of national as well as international supplier relationships including supplier evaluation
• Negotiation of prices, contracts, and framework agreements taking into account costs, quality, and delivery performance
• Analysis and optimization of procurement processes, conducting market, price, and risk analyses as well as identification of savings potential
• Close cooperation with the repair team to ensure demand-oriented procurement and material availability, even in time-critical situations

What you bring with you:

• Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further training in purchasing or Supply Chain Management
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in the aviation, industrial, or automotive industry, including contract and price negotiations
• Strong analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, high communication skills, and strong self-organization
• Very good English skills as well as confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems (ideally Business Central)
