Your tasks

At the core of the role We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Engineer to join us building a modern, cloud-based platform that helps financial institutions manage credit risk and fraud. You’ll develop product features, combining strong Java development skills, experience with Node.js or React, and AI-assisted coding tools that are an integral part of the team’s everyday workflow.

Core skills you’ll bring

• Strong Java development skills and experience building scalable, high-quality applications
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude and Cursor, for coding and problem-solving
• Working knowledge of Node.js or React, with the ability to navigate existing code and contribute to development tasks
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and cloud-native application design
• Experience with software testing methodologies, test automation and writing maintainable, reliable code
• Ability to work with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems and automated deployment workflows
• Ability to contribute to code reviews, technical discussions and collaborative problem-solving

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java-based microservices and cloud-native applications
• Build and enhance product features in a modern full-stack environment
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high engineering standards
• Use AI-assisted development tools, automation and CI/CD practices to improve productivity and software delivery
• Create and maintain technical documentation while contributing to team knowledge sharing and continuous learning
