Your tasks
We are looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide day-to-day technical support to employees, helping ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems, devices, and workplace technology.
The role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career who is eager to learn, enjoys troubleshooting, and wants to gain hands-on experience across different areas of IT infrastructure and support.
- Provide first-level technical support to users for hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows applications and standard business software.
- Support users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, permissions, and basic Active Directory / Microsoft 365 administration.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Support the setup and maintenance of meeting rooms, phones, and other office technology.
- Prepare IT equipment for new employees and support onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Provide general hands-on support for the company's IT infrastructure and ongoing IT projects.
Requirements
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, printers, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, or Windows Server will be considered an advantage.
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
- Good knowledge of English.
