Senior SAP Sales Data Migration Lead

About the role

You will step into a global SAP S/4HANA program in an international industrial environment where data quality is crucial for Sales and Order-to-Cash flows to function from day one. Here, you will drive the migration of Sales-related data within a rollout cluster and become the link between the global template, local operations, and technical execution.

The role is suitable for you who enjoy combining strategic steering with hands-on work. You will work closely with data owners, Data Stewards, Sales stakeholders, and IT to create structure, progress, and quality throughout the entire migration journey. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to influence a business-critical area in a complex international transformation.

Tasks

• You define and drive the plan, scope, and approach for the migration of Sales data objects.
• You assess data readiness and ensure that the work aligns with the global migration model and data governance.
• You lead local data activities such as extraction, cleansing, mapping, and enrichment.
• You develop, quality assure, and validate data mappings as well as transformation logic.
• You coordinate ETL runs and follow up on quality, completeness, and deviations.
• You support validation before and after data loading, including mock cycles, cut-over, and go-live.
• You collaborate closely with the business, Data Stewards, and IT to resolve data-related issues and drive the work forward.
• You document decisions, status, risks, and data corrections.
• You contribute to hypercare after go-live and manage the follow-up of data-related needs.

Requirements

• Experience of SAP data migration within SAP SD/Sales.
• Hands-on experience in data cleansing, mapping, and validation.
• Good understanding of Sales data, for example customers, prices, and orders.
• Experience of global template-based rollouts.
• Fluent English.

Meritorious

• Swedish.
• Experience of Order-to-Cash processes in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Experience of cut-over, mock loads, and hypercare in larger ERP programs.
• Experience from an international industrial or energy environment.
