Localization Coordinator – consulting assignment

Our mission:

We are looking for a Localization Coordinator!

Are you structured, communicative, and have an eye for both language and details? We are now looking for a Localization Coordinator for an exciting assignment in Stockholm. You will be employed by us at Avanzera but work on-site with our client, who is a major player in their niche.

In this role, you will coordinate translation and localization projects from start to delivery. You will work together with both internal and external parties and ensure that projects, materials, and deliveries maintain high quality and follow established timelines.

The position is full-time and the start is as soon as possible.

Tasks:

In the role, you will among other things:

• Coordinate translation and localization projects
• Prioritize tasks and follow up on deliveries
• Prepare and quality assure material before translation
• Handle questions and feedback related to translations
• Contribute to developing workflows, documentation, glossaries, and guidelines
• Follow up and assist in solving language and content-related problems

Your background:

We believe you have:

• Experience in localization, translation, or similar
• Experience in coordination or project management
• Very good knowledge of English as well as another language
• A structured way of working and the ability to handle multiple parallel tasks
• Good communication skills and an eye for quality and details

Experience with CAT/TMS tools such as memoQ, Jira, or similar systems is meritorious. It is also a plus if you have worked with the localization of digital products, apps, software, or interactive content.
