Your tasks

Overview We are looking for a Mission Coordinator to join our Mission Development team based in Munich. In this position, you will play a key role in deploying Auterion's autonomous systems and mission-critical software to active defence and public safety users. Working alongside the Mission Operations Specialist, you will help navigate fluid priorities, partial information, and evolving operational demands, bringing clarity to complex environments to keep vital initiatives with the Bundeswehr and industry partners on schedule.

Day to day, you will drive project progress with the Bundeswehr and commercial partners: tracking open action items across stakeholders, arranging live demonstrations and field evaluations, drafting proposals and presentations, and keeping engineering, supply chain, and the customer aligned.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate joint projects with industry partners and internal teams, keeping track of open Mission Coordinatorpoints, milestones, and deliveries.
  • Organise customer demonstrations and field tests, from planning and logistics to on-site support and follow-up.
  • Prepare offers, tender documents, and presentations for customers, partners, and government stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Auterion's participation in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of smaller workstreams and grow into greater responsibility over time.

Requirements

This fast-paced, high-impact opportunity is ideal for an ambitious early-career professional seeking direct exposure to the German defence sector. Right from the start, you will work with military units, procurement bodies, and industry leaders and take charge of your own workstreams as you grow within the organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear messaging and presentations.
  • Organised, proactive, and hands-on, with a clear focus on outcomes and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • A team player, ready to step into multiple roles to ensure customer and company success.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • An existing German security clearance (Ü1/Ü2) is strongly preferred; otherwise, you must be eligible and willing to obtain one.
  • First experience in defence, public security, or aerospace, familiarity with the German defence ecosystem around Munich.
  • Prior military service is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 20%)
  • Fluent German and English.
