Take ownership of a prestigious Central London property as a Facilities & Operations Manager, leading the delivery of building operations, maintenance, compliance and workplace services. Managing an established team and a range of contractors, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, efficient and high-performing environment for occupiers and visitors alike. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional who combines strong technical expertise with outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills.

FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS MANAGER ROLE:

  • Leading day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations, managing building services, maintenance activities and technical support requirements
  • Managing facilities and maintenance teams, contractors and specialist suppliers to ensure high service standards and operational performance
  • Planning preventative maintenance programmes and coordinating reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building systems
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, health and safety standards and maintenance record management
  • Managing hard and soft facilities services, including cleaning, security, front-of-house support and supplier performance
  • Monitoring budgets, expenditure, procurement activities and supplier invoices, while preparing operational reports and management information
  • Supporting building projects, refurbishments, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement activities, while liaising with stakeholders and responding to building emergencies as required

FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS MANAGER ESSENTIALS:

  • Demonstrating strong practical facilities management experience within a complex building environment
  • Managing mechanical, electrical and plumbing building systems, including HVAC, fire safety and general building services
  • Leading facilities, maintenance or operational teams and managing contractor and supplier performance
  • Managing planned preventative maintenance programmes, reactive maintenance activities and technical issue resolution
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory building regulations, health and safety requirements, certification and maintenance records
  • Managing facilities budgets, operational expenditure, compliance documentation and facilities management systems
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships, communicating technical information clearly and balancing day-to-day operations with long-term planning initiatives
