Business Controller - New Position

1. The Company

Our client is an international group in the food & restaurant sector. It employs several thousand employees worldwide and remains strongly anchored in Belgium. It promotes an offering of fresh, authentic, and sustainable products, and relies on its own production site in Belgium.

As part of its growth, the group is strengthening its Controlling team with a Business Controller. Your role will be to provide management with clear analyses and concrete recommendations to drive performance.

1. Expected Skills

• Be the financial business partner for the production site: analyze monthly results, monitor KPIs, and identify variances and levers for improvement.
• Perform cost, margin, and price analyses for new products, and propose prices for the Belgian network.
• Measure the impact of changes in prices, products, and costs on turnover and margin.
• Develop and evolve reporting and dashboards under Power BI, and automate reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and F&B and support them in interpreting analyses.

1. Ideal Profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in controlling, management control, or audit.
• Good proficiency in Power BI and Excel. Microsoft Fabric or SQL are a plus.
• An analytical mind, the ability to transform figures into concrete recommendations, and an interest in data and AI.
• A good communicator, autonomous, and possessing a team spirit.
• Fluent Dutch and English. French is an asset.
• Available to work at least 4 days per week in Brussels and 1 time per month at the production site.
