Your tasks
- MIG and TIG weld fabricated components used on roofing and construction projects.
- Weld brackets, frames, supports and fabricated sections.
- Work from drawings and measurements; set up equipment and select settings.
- Prepare, clean, cut and position materials.
- Check alignment, distortion and finish.
- Carry out tack, fillet and butt welds; grind and dress welds where specified.
- Identify defects and follow hot-work, gas-cylinder and PPE controls.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop area.
Requirements
- Welding galvanised or coated materials, aluminium or stainless steel.
- Fabrication of brackets, trims, frames and supports.
- Workshop and site-installation experience.
- Driving experience and a valid Philippine driving licence.
