Mechanical Worker

Your tasks

• Pumps, mount and install pumps. Disassembly and change parts in pumps. Total overhaul of

pumps.

• Alignment of propulsion lines or machinery on ships, winches, engines and motors with laser or

with measure instrument GAP and SAK (Easy laser system).

• Change and clean box, plate and pipe coolers.

• Disassembly, repair and reassembly of various mechanical marine components and constructions.

• assist in removal of shaft and propeller

• Thruster disassemble /assembly and overhaul.

• Propeller removal and assistance with propeller removal.

• Hydraulic cylinders overhaul and repair.

• Working with repair or installation of diesel engines, gear boxes ect.

• Rigging of mechanical components.

Requirements

Workers who are familiar with working on a repair shipyard or similar business like ex. or motorman ex

seaman with knowledge of repair of existing mechanical components, which are used in rough or

maritime/offshore environment.

Experienced or familiar in working with some or all mentioned tasks who can

• Communicate with collogues in English language.

• Knowledge of good maritime craftsmanship for mechanical workers in the maritime or offshore

industry.

• Critical self-monitoring of work performance and quality.
