Blocklayer/Pipelayer

Key Responsibilities

• General groundwork and site preparation
• Excavation and trench support
• Laying drainage and service pipes
• Installing underground services
• Block laying and kerbing
• Construction of footpaths and paved areas
• Operating forward tipping dumper (where licensed)
• Assisting with concrete works and foundations
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

Requirements Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in all aspects of groundwork
• Experience laying pipes and underground services
• Competent block layer
• Ability to carry out general labouring duties
• Dumper ticket/licence advantageous
• Good understanding of health & safety on construction sites
• Ability to work independently and within a team
