Next Generation Automatic Car Key Development Engineer (M/F) - Internship

As part of the development of a next-generation car key test automation platform, we are looking for an engineering intern to develop modular software, accessible to users who are not development specialists. The internship takes place within an R&D electronics team and will be applied to communicating car keys using different communication modes (Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, LF, RF). *Your challenges* Reporting to the R&D electronics team, you will be entrusted with the following missions: Design test software in Python and C++, allowing for the interfacing of different measurement devices and keys. Develop a simple and intuitive user interface to facilitate test configuration and execution. Implement reusable software building blocks for: Initializing/configuring devices. Launching measurements. Storing results (logs, result files). Analyzing results according to requirements.
Document hardware interfacing procedures (wiring, user manual, etc.). Learning objectives: Apply software architecture and object-oriented programming concepts. Work on a concrete project combining electronics and software development. Understand the challenges of automation in an industrial testing environment. Collaborate with business experts to make the software accessible to non-developers.
*About you* You are in your final year of engineering school with a specialization in computer science, electronics, or embedded systems. Good knowledge of Python and C++, and in object-oriented programming. Interest in electronics and measurement systems. Ability to design simple user interfaces. Rigor, analytical spirit, initiative-taking. A first experience in software development or automation is a plus. English Mandatory Expected deliverables: Documented software architecture. Functional user interface. Technical and user documentation. Internship report.
