Electronics Test Automation Engineer (M/F) - Internship

As part of the development of a test automation platform for electronic devices, we are looking for an engineering intern to continue the development of a modular software architecture, accessible to users who are not development specialists. This internship will allow you to work on a concrete project combining electronics and software development, while collaborating with business experts in an industrial environment. *Your challenges Reporting to the electronics team, you will be required to: Continue the development of a software architecture in Python, based on class inheritance, allowing the interfacing of different measurement devices, Develop and optimize a simple and intuitive user interface to facilitate the configuration and execution of tests, Implement reusable software building blocks to: Initialize/configure devices Launch measurements Store results (logs, result files) Analyze results according to requirements Participate in the formalization of requirements and their translation into software frameworks, Document hardware interfacing procedures (wiring, user manual, etc.).
Design of a script auto-coding chain based on AI agents exploiting product software specifications and characteristics Dissemination of the tool and training on its use to the relevant persons
Learning objectives Apply software architecture and object-oriented programming concepts, Work on a concrete project combining electronics and software development, Understand the challenges of automation in an industrial test environment, Collaborate with business experts to make the software accessible to non-developers. You have good knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming, You have an interest in electronics and measurement systems, You are capable of designing simple user interfaces, You are autonomous, rigorous, with good analytical skills, A first experience in software development or automation is a plus, You have a good level of English.
