Electrical Engineering Technician

About the role:

In this role, you will be the technical person on-site for practical electrical engineering activities in Sweden. You will be the link between different functions in the organization to be able to perform modifications locally. The role includes tasks such as manual rework operations on printed circuit boards (PCB) for prototypes, component replacement, and mechanical assembly. You need to read and interpret wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings to be able to support prototype construction, troubleshooting, and testing of peripheral equipment. The position also includes ensuring compliance with ESD and safety requirements, as well as functional verification before launch. The role encompasses procurement, ordering, and management of electronic and mechanical components for prototype and testing activities, but also supplier communication, order follow-up, specification verification, and coordination with other teams. You will also work closely with our customers and therefore need to have good communication skills.

The position is a resident role, which means that you will be employed by AUMOVIO but will mainly work on-site at one of the customers that AUMOVIO works with.

Requirements:

• Higher vocational degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field. The education should have included practical training.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Reading of electrical diagrams.
• Use of test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter).
• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Basic programming and diagnostics of control units.
• Troubleshooting faults in real-world systems.
• Fluent English.

• Fluent Swedish.
