Electrical Engineering Lead Developer

About the role:

In this role, you will be the technical representative for the electrical engineering operations in Sweden. You will be the link between different functions in the organization to be able to align requirements, priorities, integration, and delivery expectations. The position involves, among other things, driving the development and implementation of next-generation HPC (high-performance computing) and software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures. You will be responsible for transforming architectural concepts into robust and production-ready electrical and electronic solutions. There will be a strong focus on centralized computing platforms, high-speed communication, and integrated vehicle systems. In the role, you will lead the design and development of E/E subsystem components, translating system and architecture specifications into detailed electrical designs and providing technical support for hardware integration, system development, troubleshooting, and validation. You will also ensure effective system integration between hardware and software. The position also involves clarifying requirements, maintaining close coordination with the customer, and supporting technical activities with the customer.

The position is a resident role, which means that you will be employed by AUMOVIO but primarily work on-site at one of the customers that AUMOVIO works with.

Requirements:

• University degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, vehicle engineering, or a comparable field.
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience in development within automotive electrical engineering.
• Good knowledge of E/E architectures and HPC platforms (SoC, GPU-based systems) with exposure to automotive networks (Automotive Ethernet, CAN, etc.).
• Understanding of SoCs, GPUs, accelerators, memory hierarchies, bandwidth constraints, as well as power and thermal aspects.
• Understanding of cross-functional development in an international environment.
• Understanding of coordination between system, software, test, quality, and project management functions.
• Fluent English.

Meritorious:

• Background in Body / vehicle control units and/or battery management systems for electric vehicles.
• Good ability regarding basic development methods, structured problem-solving, and release-oriented execution.
• Good communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable development priorities.
• Fluent Swedish.
