Supply Chain Expert-Sea Freight (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

• You plan and organize the international shipment of our products with a focus on sea freight
• You prepare export and outbound documents in compliance with customs and forwarding regulations
• You are responsible for container tracking and monitoring compliance with transport conditions
• You are responsible for the forwarding coordination of import containers
• You accompany and monitor the latest developments in the sea freight market
• Your area of responsibility includes the verification and billing of logistics/transport services in our billing system

Qualifications

• Completed training as a Kaufmann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung or a solid commercial education with specialized further training
• Several years of professional experience in the field of international sea freight with a focus on export
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge of using Transport Management Systems, ideally with SAP TM
• Openness to new information technologies
• Organizational skills and goal-oriented communication skills
• Enthusiasm and high commitment to the area of responsibility
