Senior C++ Developer (Core Trading Systems, 100% Remote)

We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to build trading systems for a well-established, U.S. Nasdaq-listed company. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely, developing advanced electronic trading solutions for various asset classes, including fixed income and derivatives .

Please note that the working hours must overlap with New York business hours. We prefer a full 8-hour overlap (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET), but require a minimum of 6 hours of overlap during this window. Flexibility may increase as you become more familiar with the system and more independent in handling projects.

Daily tasks

• Develop and enhance core trading systems for fixed income and derivative securities.
• Work effectively in a small, high-performing software development team.
• Collaborate with both technical team members and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our trading technology stack.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Experience building financial software or trading systems . Minimum of 5 years of C++ experience in a Windows or Linux environment , utilizing object-oriented techniques, robust testing methodologies, and high-quality coding standards. Strong debugging skills and the ability to understand a large codebase. Proficiency in multi-threading, the STL, distributed systems, and network programming . Minimum of 3 years of database application development experience using SQL and relational database techniques (Microsoft SQL Server is preferred). Strong English communication skills.

Beneficial Skills & Experience

Experience developing high-throughput, low-latency, and resilient software. Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript programming.
