Maintain control over each section of the kitchen assigned to you

Duties and Responsibilities

• Control the arrival of goods and verify that products are fresh, checking expiration dates and quality.
• Distribute daily activities as well as control the recipe procedure.
• Keep the workplace clean and orderly and supervise the good behavior of your kitchen team.
• You are in charge of the preparation of the most elaborate dishes.
• Request requirement lists from each chef de partie and coordinate them.
• Control the temperatures of the refrigeration and freezing chambers.
• Support the Kitchen sections that fall behind with service.
• Review dishes before they are delivered.
• Prepare the necessary reports in case of disciplinary problems with members of your team.
• Each Sous Chef will have specific activities corresponding to their shift.

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to carry out all tasks and responsibilities.
• Must always have a positive and motivating attitude, conveying it to collaborators and guests.

• Must have total knowledge in the area.

• Must show professionalism and be oriented toward Luxury service.

Desirable

• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
• Must be able to work in a team and relate to different levels, maintaining a cordial and affectionate relationship with all collaborators.

Language

• Intermediate English, Oral and Written

Education Level

• High school or equivalent to experience.
