Job Description

The Pool Boy is responsible for the cleaning of the pool area, restroom standards, lounge chairs, umbrellas, beds, tables, restaurant, deck, and cabana area. Service attitude towards the guest, time availability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and organization of the towel station.
• Verify and organize towels.
• Clean and disinfect lounge chairs and umbrellas.
• Provide necessary supplies to the restrooms they clean (paper, towels, soap, etc.).
• Know and apply different cleaning items (powder soap, acid detergents, alkaline detergents, neutral soap, stain removers, etc.).
• Know and apply different disinfection products.
• Collaborate in inventory counts.
• Stay aware of guest requests such as changing towels and covers.
• Nourish wood decking.
• Scheduling umbrella washing.
• Deep cleaning of bases.
• Linens inventory.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to carry out all tasks and responsibilities.
• Must always have a positive and motivating attitude, transmitting it to colleagues and guests.

• Must have total knowledge in the area.

• Must show professionalism and be oriented toward Luxury service.

Desirable

• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
• Must be able to work in a team and relate to different levels, maintaining a cordial and affectionate relationship with all colleagues.

Language

• Advanced English (Oral and Written)

Education Level

• Completed Middle School or High School.
