Attraktion! develops and realizes media-based attractions, immersive spaces, Flying Theater, 4D/5D cinemas, interactive shows, as well as complex AV and Show Control systems in Europe. A move to Austria would be desirable; project-related travel within Europe is part of the role. We are looking for a technical project manager who leads complex media technology projects from planning through procurement, installation, and acceptance.

TASKS

  • Overall coordination of technical areas: AV, Show Control, Audio, Video, Projection, Interaction, Network, as well as interfaces to Construction, Electrical, and Mechanics.
  • Control of schedule, costs, quality, and interfaces with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and local trades.
  • Leading Site Visits, Kick-offs, installation phases, daily meetings, FAT / SAT, Punch Lists, and technical handovers.
  • Review of offers, specifications, layouts, planning revisions, bills of materials, and acceptance documentation.
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and escalating risks and implementing practical solutions.
  • Customer communication, protocols, status reports, and decision documents in English / German.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as a Technical Project Manager, AV Project Manager, Technical Manager, or Lead Engineer.
  • Broad understanding of AV systems, Show Control, Media-Servers, Projection / Display technology, Audio, Network, electrical interfaces, and installation.
  • Ability to translate technical planning into realistic construction site workflows and coordinate trades.
  • Structured way of working with schedules, to-dos, protocols, cost awareness, and reliable follow-up.
  • Confident communication with customers, suppliers, and site teams; solution-oriented under time pressure.
  • Flawless English; German is an advantage. High willingness to travel within Europe.

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Experience with theme parks, museums, immersive installations, Themed Entertainment, Flying Theaters, 4D/5D cinemas, or interactive attractions.
  • AutoCAD / Vectorworks, MS Project / Smartsheet, Jira / Confluence, AVIXA / CTS, or comparable standards.
  • Basic understanding of CE, safety processes, acceptance, documentation, and continuous operation.
