Attraktion! develops and realizes media-based attractions, immersive spaces, Flying Theater, 4D/5D cinemas, interactive shows, as well as complex AV and Show-Control systems in Europe. A move to Austria would be desirable; project-related travel within Europe is part of the role. We are looking for a planning specialist who translates media technology concepts into precise, buildable, and well-documented system solutions.

TASKS

• Planning of media technology systems for immersive spaces, shows, attractions, and permanent installations.
• Creation and maintenance of system architectures, signal flow diagrams, block diagrams, rack layouts, I/O lists, cable lists, and equipment overviews.
• Design of video, audio, projection, LED / displays, Media-Server, control, network, power supply, sensor technology, and interfaces.
• Coordination with creative concept, content, construction, electrical, engineering, software, suppliers, and installation teams.
• Creation of specifications, tender documents, supplier inquiries, bid comparisons, and bills of materials.
• Support with procurement, FAT / SAT, documentation, handover documents, and as-built revisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in AV system design, media technology planning, system integration, Broadcast / Event / Entertainment Technology, or comparable planning.
• Good understanding of AV signals, AV-over-IP, networks, audio, projection / display technology, Media-Server, control, and installation logic.
• Proficient use of AutoCAD, Vectorworks, EPLAN, Visio, Lucidchart, or comparable tools.
• Ability to structure requirements, identify technical risks, and create clear, buildable planning documents.
• Careful documentation, precise bills of materials, version discipline, and cost awareness.
• Flawless English; German is an advantage. Occasional site visits in Europe.

ADVANTAGEOUS

• AVIXA / CTS, Dante, Crestron, Q-SYS, Media-Server, Projection Mapping, LED systems, or network certificates.
• Experience with tenders, specifications, bid review, and supplier coordination.
• Practical experience in theme parks, museums, immersive experiences, exhibitions, or permanent show installations.
