Accounting Manager (M/F)
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to management and working closely with the headquarters in Germany, you are the guarantor of the reliability of the French accounts, compliance with legal and tax obligations, and the quality of Group reporting.

Your mission
Your role is to ensure the proper maintenance of the company's accounting in France, in compliance with French legal obligations and Group standards.
In particular, you are responsible for the reliability of financial data, compliance with deadlines, and the securing of accounting, tax, and social processes.
Your main responsibilities
Accounting & closings
- Ensure full maintenance of the accounting according to the Group's chart of accounts and German standards.
- Perform monthly closings and prepare financial reporting.
- Prepare various financial reports for the Group, within the required deadlines.
- Prepare the necessary elements for the annual management report presented to the Board of Directors.
- Prepare, control, and transmit monthly Intrastat / DEB declarations.
- Control, validate, and ensure the payment of invoices.
- Participate in treasury management and the monitoring of financial flows.
- Prepare and participate in various audits.
Taxation, social & payroll
- Control expense reports: accounting allocation, VAT, compliance, and payment processing.
- Prepare and manage employee payroll elements.
- Control the data transmitted by the accounting firm and ensure the monitoring of social benefits (meal vouchers, etc.).
- Prepare DUE / DPAE, provident fund files, as well as declarations to URSSAF.
- Maintain a watch on developments in social and tax regulations and guarantee their proper application.
Your scope of responsibility
As Accounting Manager, you are the guarantor of:
- Compliance with French legal obligations, in order to prevent tax and social risks.
- The reliability of the French accounting.
- The production of reliable and timely reporting for the German headquarters, according to Group standards.
- Compliance with payment deadlines for suppliers and other third parties.
REQUIREMENTS
With a higher education degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in accounting, finance, or management, you have significant professional experience in a similar position.
Experience gained in an accounting or audit firm is a real asset.
You master:
- Knowledge of German accounting standards and principles (German GAAP).
- French tax, social, and legal regulations.
- Office tools, particularly Excel / Pack Office.
- An ERP environment, ideally SAP.
- Professional English, indispensable for operating in an international environment.
