Experienced General Accountant M/F

DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, an international market leader, an experienced General Accountant.

Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, you will operate within a scope composed of several entities and will be a true stakeholder in the quality of financial information. You will work in close collaboration with the accounting, management control, consolidation, and group finance teams, as well as with the financial interlocutors of international subsidiaries.

Your main missions

At the heart of the group's accounting operations, your responsibilities will notably include the following:

• Participate in monthly and annual closings: preparation, recording, and control of closing entries.
• Ensure the accounting review of general accounts and analyze the trial balances of the companies within your scope.
• Guarantee the monitoring, analysis, and reconciliation of intercompany operations with the relevant subsidiaries.
• Contribute to the reliability of financial data integrated into group tools and ensure the consistency of information used for reporting and consolidation.
• Perform financial analyses and analytical reviews to explain the main account variations.
• Participate in monthly financial reporting in connection with the Finance teams.
• Provide occasional support to the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
• Prepare the necessary elements for internal and external audits and participate in exchanges with the statutory auditors.

REQUIREMENTS

With higher education in accounting, finance, or management (ideally a Master's degree), you have 5 to 10 years of experience in general accounting, ideally acquired in an international, industrial, technological, or multi-site environment.

You master:

• French accounting principles and monthly and annual closing processes.
• Accounting review and account analysis.
• Intercompany operations and financial data reliability issues.
• ERP environments.
• Excel with an advanced level.
• Your professional English level allows you to communicate effectively with international interlocutors, in writing (mandatory) as well as orally (if possible).
• Beyond your technical skills, you are recognized for your rigor, autonomy, analytical spirit, and your ability to work in a team within a structured and demanding environment.
