Service Programmer (m/f/d) (Software Developer)

Your Tasks

• Design and programming of all electronic and electrical components of our products according to customer requirements
• Development of control programs (SPS, HMI, drives)
• Alignment of customer wishes with ATS standard
• Commissioning of our products in-house and at the customer site (international)
• Preparation, implementation, and documentation of technical changes
• Responsible contact person for the Project Manager regarding scheduling and daily project execution. Participation in meetings for project control
• Organization of workflows and sub-projects. Compilation of work packages, assignment to team members, and checking of work results. Responsible control and monitoring of personnel expenditure for service projects
• Cost-conscious and timely working
• Optimization of workflows and process costs
• Cooperation with specialist departments during conception, assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting, and cycle time optimization of the system

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation Technology, a degree as a state-certified technician with a focus on Automation Technology, or completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician with several years of experience in Automation Technology
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the field of service or maintenance
• Very good knowledge of programming SPS, electronic drive technologies, and fieldbus systems
• English in spoken and written form (B-level)
• Very good knowledge in HMI programming
• High willingness to travel
• Technical understanding as well as a quick grasp of new concepts
