*Position Overview*
ATR is a growing property maintenance company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas in a residential apartment building. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning experience, take pride in their work, and be committed to providing residents with a clean and safe living environment.
*Schedule*
- Monday to Friday
- 8am to 1pm or 9am to 2pm
- Potential for more hours at a different site
*Key Responsibilities*
- Clean and maintain high-traffic common areas, including:
- Lobby
- Elevator
- Amenity Spaces
- Hallways / Stairwells
- Washroom
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as:
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets
- Cleaning stainless steel surfaces
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Cleaning and restocking washrooms
- Switching bins under the garbage chute
- Picking up litter around the exterior
*Additional Duties*
- Handle building keys and FOBs responsibly
- Report property damage and maintenance concerns (including photos when required)
- Identify and report unsafe conditions
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with elevator move bookings as needed
- Provide access for trades
- Filling softener salt tanks (ability to lift 44lbs)
*Qualifications & Skills*
- Commercial cleaning experience (minimum 1 year)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to follow schedules, checklists, and procedures
- Strong work ethic and reliability
*Compensation*
- $18.25 per hour (starting wage)
