Primary School Mathematics Tutor

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Assess students' learning needs and customise lesson plans to maximise learning outcomes.
• Teach mathematical concepts, problem-solving strategies and logical reasoning.
• Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for school assessments and examinations.
• Develop students' confidence, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' academic progress.
• Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and classroom activities.
• Uphold ATOP Academy's teaching standards, values, and commitment to academic excellence.

Requirements

• GCE O-Level, GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Mathematics syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Responsible, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage but not required.
