Responsibilities Contribute to new and ongoing research projects at Atom Computing, particularly those related to quantum error correction and fault tolerance.

Experience & Education Currently pursuing a PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience with quantum error correction theory or experiment.

Qualifications Willingness to translate concepts into demonstrations running on actual quantum computing hardware.

Familiarity with Python and Git software version control

Temperamentally suited to work at a fast-growing startup: self-motivated, humble, driven, and collaborative.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team of experimental physicists, hardware, and software engineers.
