Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor / HDB / Building / A&A Projects)

Our client is an established BCA-registered General Builder with ongoing HDB upgrading, building and A&A projects in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from procurement through to final account. Key Responsibilities Manage project cost control, budgeting and commercial reporting . Prepare and submit progress claims, Variation Orders and final accounts . Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, claims and payments. Manage subcontract procurement , comparison and negotiation. Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks or cost overruns. Review contracts and support contractual administration and claims. Work closely with Project Managers and site teams on cost and commercial matters. Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on claims, variations and account settlement. Maintain proper records for claims, contractual correspondence and project costs. Support tender costing and pre-contract activities where required.

Requirements Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related discipline . Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore . Experience with a Main Contractor / General Builder is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in HDB upgrading, Lift Upgrading, MSCP, A&A or public-sector building projects will have an advantage. Good experience in progress claims, VO, subcontract management, cost control and final accounts . Familiarity with PSSCOC, SIA contracts and Singapore construction practices will be advantageous. Strong negotiation, commercial and communication skills. Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
