Care Executive (Eldercare / Healthcare Assistant)

Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a caring and responsible Care Executive to support elderly clients in a senior-care environment.

You will be responsible for the daily care, safety and well-being of an assigned group of seniors, while encouraging them to participate in activities and providing companionship throughout the day.

This position is suitable for candidates with experience in eldercare, healthcare assistance, caregiving or patient care who are comfortable providing hands-on support to seniors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and companionship to assigned elderly clients.
• Encourage and assist seniors to participate in daily programmes and group activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and toileting .
• Support manual transfers to and from wheelchairs or geriatric chairs.
• Assist with oral feeding where required.
• Measure and monitor basic vital signs.
• Provide medication reminders according to established procedures.
• Assist seniors with simple exercises as instructed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during all activities.
• Follow established care procedures, guidelines and administrative requirements.
• Promptly report incidents, concerns or changes in clients' conditions to the Centre Manager.
• Work closely with fellow Care Executives and the wider care team.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in eldercare, healthcare, nursing support or caregiving .
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care to elderly clients.
• Patient, caring, cheerful and attentive personality.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in additional languages or dialects will be advantageous when interacting with elderly clients.
• Responsible team player with a strong focus on client safety.
• Healthcare Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR/AED Certification preferred.
