WELDER
Perform welding and fabrication work according to drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
Weld metal components using MIG, TIG, ARC, or other appropriate welding methods.
Cut, shape, fit, and assemble metal parts and structures.
Inspect welded joints for strength, quality, and accuracy.
Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, and hand tools.
Prepare metal surfaces before welding and clean finished welds.
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to complete assigned jobs on schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Requirements
ITI / vocational qualification in Welding or relevant trade is preferred.
2–5 years of relevant welding experience preferred.
Experience with ARC/MIG/TIG welding and metal fabrication.
Ability to read basic fabrication drawings is an advantage.
Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to work in workshop or construction-site conditions.
Willingness to work overtime when required.
