Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager and the Structural Engineering Department, you will be responsible for major engineering design activities for the Abu Dhabi Engineering Team, including:

• Identify work scope and technical requirements.
• Participate in technical clarifications and prepare discipline proposals.
• Manage interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Develop engineering work plans according to project requirements.
• Execute major structural engineering design activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to complete engineering work.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and other engineering reports.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with the company’s QHSE requirements.
• Lead the Jacket and Topside Structural Engineering Design.

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of international offshore structural engineering standards, including API RP-2A and ISO 19901.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Structural Engineer Requirements

• Extensive experience in the structural engineering design of offshore oil and gas platforms.
• Proficient in SACS and AutoCAD for structural engineering design and analysis.
