Finance Manager

Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function within a manufacturing environment. Working closely with operational management, you’ll provide clear financial insight, oversee reporting and planning, and help the business make informed decisions to improve performance.

• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and meaningful.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, providing insight into business performance.
• Manage and support the development of the manufacturing finance team.
• Ensure robust financial controls, balance sheet integrity and good governance.
• Partner with operational managers to review costs, performance and key business measures.
• Identify ways to improve financial processes, reporting and controls.
• Work alongside data colleagues to improve the quality of business information and support better decision-making.

This is a hands-on finance leadership role where you’ll have the scope to shape the finance function, develop your team and build strong relationships across the business. You’ll play an important part in connecting financial information with operational performance, helping the business identify opportunities and make sound commercial decisions.
