Your tasks

Job Summary Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and small commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems while ensuring safe, efficient operation and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls and in-shop repairs in a professional manner.
• Maintain a courteous, clean, and professional appearance in proper uniform.
• Ensure vehicle is clean and properly maintained at all times.
• Take responsibility for assigned tools and equipment.
• Accurately complete service invoices and collect COD payments when required.
• Perform warranty work and complete related paperwork on-site.
• Keep dispatchers informed of location, schedule, and parts required for jobs.
• Maintain truck inventory, return defective parts, and restock to minimum levels.
• Participate in periodic training programs.
• Promote sales of equipment, accessories, and service agreements.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• Refrigeration license and minimum of G2 gas fitters license.
• Valid drivers license for the Province of Ontario.
• Experience with cold climate high efficiency air source heat pumps.
• Geothermal experience would be very helpful.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in a straightforward manner.
• Comfort in leveraging a tablet and the latest technology to complete work orders for enhanced customer service.
• Willingness to learn and attend regular training to keep up with the complex systems we sell and service.
• Ability to work individually and as a team.
