Django and Python Web Developer - ATAfrica We are seeking a talented Django and Python Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable, high-performance web applications using Django, Python, and other related technologies. What We Are Looking For Will have the following responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Django and Python
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Experience Needed Must have the following:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Django and Python development
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB or MySQL
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or similar tools
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React is a plus
- Experience with Heroku, AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Industry Experience: Trading and electronic trading platforms is a plus
