senior site finishing engineer

Role Description The Finishing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in El Sherouk. The position is responsible for supervising and executing finishing works, including plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, and other architectural finishes, to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings, coordinating with contractors and site teams, inspecting work progress, and resolving technical issues related to finishing activities. The Finishing Engineer will monitor timelines, materials, and workmanship, prepare progress reports, and support adherence to safety regulations and company policies. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, consultants, and suppliers to deliver completed units on schedule and within budget.

Strong knowledge of finishing works (plaster, paint, flooring, tiling, carpentry, ceilings) and relevant construction methodologies.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and finishing schedules.

Experience supervising site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and monitoring quality and progress.

Understanding of construction safety standards, site procedures, and quality control practices.

Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of common office and construction software tools.

Effective communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with previous on-site finishing experience preferred.

Ability to work on-site in El Sherouk full time and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
