Architecture site finishing engineer

Site Supervision: Supervise daily on-site finishing works for individual units (e.g., plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, gypsum board ceilings, woodwork, and aluminum installations). ​Construction Coordination: Bridge the gap between general construction structures and finishing packages, ensuring proper coordination of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) first and second fix items prior to finishing. ​Shop Drawings & Specs: Review and interpret architectural shop drawings, details, and material specifications, ensuring the site execution strictly matches the approved engineering designs. ​Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and site laborers, tracking their daily progress and performance on-site. ​Quality Control (QC): Inspect and sign off on various stages of finishing works, identifying any defects and ensuring prompt rectification. ​Quantities & Material Tracking: Assist in preparing quantity take-offs for finishing materials (tiles, paints, adhesives, hardware) and monitor site inventory to prevent shortages. ​Reporting: Submit regular daily and weekly progress reports to the Senior Site Engineer or Project Manager, highlighting milestones, delays, and site issues.

​Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. ​Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in site engineering, with a strong focus on general construction and interior finishing of units (apartments, villas, or commercial spaces). ​Technical Skills: ​Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read complex shop drawings. ​Good understanding of general construction sequences, finishing materials, and building codes. ​Soft Skills: ​Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to manage site laborers and subcontractors effectively. ​Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail. ​Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and adapt to dynamic site environments.
