Senior Tourism Operator

The Senior Tourism Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for designing, pricing, and managing domestic and international tour packages for individual and group travelers. The role involves advising clients on destinations, itineraries, accommodations, and transportation options, while ensuring that travel plans align with budget, preferences, and company standards. The Senior Tour Consultant handles booking processes, coordinates with suppliers, and monitors reservations to secure accurate and timely confirmations. Daily tasks include responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, resolving service issues, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role also includes keeping up to date with travel trends, visa and entry requirements, and company products to provide informed and reliable consulting.

Strong expertise in travel consulting and tourism, including managing daily corporate travel requests and designing tailored tour packages and itineraries.

Experience in organizing and coordinating Guided Tours, including group and individual programs.

Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.

Proficiency in reservation and booking online systems, and standard office software.

Solid knowledge of international and domestic destinations, airlines, hotels, and ground services.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple bookings, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills for handling changes, cancellations, and customer concerns.

Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage.
