Accountant A-Y

Our client located in Antwerpen operates in a technical and logistical context where efficient inventory management and correct financial reporting are essential. The structure is compact, with short lines of communication and direct involvement in daily operations.

In this position, you will work closely with the external accountants. You will monitor the accounting from A to Y, manage a supporting invoicing employee, and simultaneously monitor the flow of purchasing and inventory.

Accountant A-Y - Job description

• You manage the full accounting from A to Y (with growth towards A-Z), including closings, reporting, and follow-up of all financial flows within the organization.
• You manage the operational aspect, with a focus on purchasing processes, warehouse activities, and optimal cooperation between administration and logistics.
• You monitor inventory management and ensure a correct financial translation, analyzing discrepancies and structurally improving processes.

Accountant A-Y - Profile

• You are a hands-on finance professional who works independently and simultaneously switches smoothly with internal stakeholders.
• You possess strong communication skills and naturally take a leading role within a small structure.
• You have a good knowledge of English and preferably can also express yourself in French; experience with an ERP package such as Odoo is a plus.
