Currently, for our international client from the banking industry, we are looking for a candidate (M/F) for the position of Senior QA Automation Engineer (M/F)

Additional information Hybrid work (3 days of work from the office per week)

Daily tasks

  • Designing, creating, and maintaining automated API tests, integrations, and data flows
  • Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
  • Creating regression tests and integrating them with CI/CD processes
  • Testing REST API and SOAP/WSDL
  • Automating and testing integration processes, including asynchronous flows and Kafka integrations
  • Verifying backend data and processes using SQL
  • Analyzing test results and preparing reports and evidence of execution
  • Collaborating with Developers, Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams
  • Supporting and developing the Automation First approach
  • Utilizing AI and GitHub Copilot to increase automation efficiency
  • Supporting less experienced team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring

Requirements

You will excel in this role if: You have at least 6 years of experience in test automation You know Java (17+) and OOP and Clean Code very well You have practical experience with REST Assured and JUnit 5 You know REST API well and have experience with SOAP/WSDL You have experience in testing backend, API, and integration processes You know SQL and have experience in database testing You have experience working with Kafka or other solutions based on asynchronous communication You know Git and CI/CD, especially Jenkins and/or Bamboo You have experience with Allure, Jira and/or qTest You communicate fluently in English (B2/C1) You are able to share knowledge and support less experienced team members Nice to have: Experience with Selenium/Playwright and experience in the practical use of AI/GitHub Copilot in test automation
