The Assystem Safety & Risk business unit has over 20 years’ experience, delivering bespoke, high-quality safety, risk, and reliability consultancy services to high-hazard industries. We help our clients to minimise risk, delivering improved safety and security and fostering a nuclear safety and risk aware culture. Assystem Safety & Risk delivers an integrated and cost-effective service that includes Safety Case, Human & Organisational Factors (HOF), Risk & Reliability (Including Probabilistic Safety Assessment), Security & Resilience, and Process Safety. We use deterministic and probabilistic techniques to help our clients to assess the risk associated with facilities and activities and confirm that risks are reduced to a level that is As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).

Location: Bengaluru / Delhi Role Summary Lead hydrology, stormwater, flood risk, and drainage projects across infrastructure, transportation, urban development, and water resources. Manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Direct hydrology & drainage studies, stormwater/flood risk assessments, watershed analysis, and hydraulic modeling. Review designs for drainage networks, culverts, ponds, channels, SuDS/LID. Project Management: Oversee proposals to completion, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and coordinate with civil, highways, water, GIS, and structures teams. Team Leadership: Mentor engineers/modelers, allocate resources, conduct reviews, and support recruitment. Modeling Expertise: Guide use of InfoWorks ICM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE11/21, Civil 3D, ArcGIS. Client Engagement: Act as primary contact, present findings, build relationships, and support business development. Quality & Compliance: Ensure standards, QA/QC, safety, and environmental compliance. KPIs On-time, on-budget delivery Technical quality & compliance Client satisfaction Team growth & utilization Proposal success & revenue targets Reporting Reports to: Department Manager / Director – Water Infrastructure Direct reports: Hydrology Engineers, Drainage Engineers, Modelers, CAD/BIM Designers, Graduates

Bachelor’s in Civil/Water/Environmental Engineering, Hydrology (Master’s preferred). 10–15+ years in hydrology/drainage; 3–5 years in leadership/project management. Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, flood risk, watershed analysis. Advanced modeling software skills; GIS & Civil 3D proficiency. Preferred certifications: PE, CEng, PMP, CIWEM.
