Associate Food Safety Course Level 3 Trainer (Chinese/English)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food Safety Course Level 3 Trainer who can deliver engaging training in Chinese (preferred) and/or English for courses approved by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).

The trainer will be responsible for conducting training and assessments in accordance with course requirements, company SOPs, and relevant regulatory standards, while ensuring effective learning outcomes for adult learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Food Safety Course Level 3 training in English and/or Chinese to adult learners.
• Conduct training in accordance with the approved course requirements, training materials, and company SOPs.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive learning through appropriate examples, discussions, activities, and practical applications.
• Explain food safety concepts clearly and effectively to learners from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Conduct and/or facilitate the required course assessments in accordance with assessment requirements.
• Monitor learners' participation, progress, and understanding throughout the course.
• Provide appropriate feedback and guidance to learners to support their learning and assessment preparation.
• Complete and submit all required training, attendance, assessment, and course documentation accurately and within the stipulated timelines.
• Ensure proper attendance-taking and compliance with relevant training administration requirements.
• Maintain a professional learning environment and manage classroom situations effectively.
• Keep updated on relevant food safety requirements, industry practices, and regulatory changes .
• Work closely with the Training Operations/Admin team to ensure smooth course delivery.
• Participate in trainer meetings, course reviews, and other training-related activities when required.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in delivering training to adult learners .
• Relevant experience in food safety, food hygiene, catering, hospitality, food service, or related industries will be an advantage.
• Possess relevant food safety qualifications and/or industry certifications.
• Possess a recognised adult education/training qualification such as ACTA, ACLP, DACE, DDDLP , or equivalent.
• Experience in conducting assessments or competency-based training will be an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant industry experience and strong training/facilitation capabilities are encouraged to apply.

Language Requirements

• Able to conduct training confidently in English and Chinese (Mandarin) .
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills in the required training language(s).
• Able to explain technical food safety concepts in a clear and learner-friendly manner.
