Your tasks
As part of our research and development activity specialized in soft fruits, we are looking for a motivated R&D technician to join our team and participate in breeding and development activities.
Under the responsibility of the Farm Supervisor R&D, you will participate in the various activities of the site, including:
Your main missions are
- Participate in the implementation of various greenhouse and field trials: planning and carrying out plant production, planting, crossings, scoring, harvesting.
- Supervise the work of seasonal staff, particularly during peak activity periods.
- Ensure compliance with experimental protocols, and the quality of field and laboratory data.
- Be proactive in suggesting improvements to methods and daily organization.
- Contribute to the smooth daily running of the R&D site and provide support to the various activities of the team.
- Work organization: 80% field; 20% office
Requirements
- You have a degree at the Bac+2 to Bac+3 level in agricultural experimentation, horticultural production, plant breeding, or an equivalent field.
- Required experience: minimum 1 to 3 years of experience
- Languages: English and Spanish
- You are motivated, rigorous, organized, and enjoy field work.
- You enjoy teamwork while being able to be autonomous in the missions entrusted to you.
