I'm currently recruiting for a lovely mainstream primary school in Rochdale who are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and reliable Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Your tasks

You'll be working alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning across Year 2. There are also children with additional SEND needs within the classroom who may require extra support, so being adaptable, patient and confident in meeting different learning needs is important.

Requirements

Who am I looking for?

• A qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant classroom experience.
• Someone who is genuinely passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
• A resilient, positive and adaptable individual who isn't afraid of a challenge.
• Someone reliable, committed and ready to become a valued member of the school team.
• A Teaching Assistant who can confidently support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.

To be considered, you must

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate suitable for working with children, or be willing to apply for one.
• Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years.
