Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant - Level 2 or Level 3

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive education team.

The Role

The successful candidate will support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and achieve their individual goals.

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with children or young people, preferably within an SEN setting
• A caring, patient and supportive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to support pupils with a range of additional needs
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
• Assist pupils with their learning and development
• Support children with additional and special educational needs
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals
• Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and wellbeing
