Aspire People are looking for an experienced Plumbing Lecturer to support learners across further education. This is an immediate opportunity for a qualified plumbing professional with strong industry experience who is looking to share their knowledge and develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

The Role

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Plumbing sessions
• Support learners across different abilities and learning needs
• Use current industry knowledge and practices within teaching
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Build positive relationships with learners and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, equality and inclusion

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent recognised qualification
• Industry experience within the plumbing and heating sector
• Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a PGCE
• Evidence of CPD and willingness to undertake further training
• Experience working with children and/or vulnerable adults
• Strong communication, organisation and IT skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with learners
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
• Ability to travel between college campuses where required

Desirable

• NVQ Assessor or IQA Award
• Experience teaching Plumbing at Levels 1, 2 and 3
• Experience with awarding bodies such as EAL or City & Guilds
• Welsh language skills
