Maths Teacher Needed - RCT
Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a full-time, long-term position within a supportive secondary school.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching Maths
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Preparing students for relevant examinations and assessments
- Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department
- Supporting students with ALN/SEN where required
We're Looking For
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- EWC registration or willingness to obtain
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
