Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEND & Primary Support Primary Schools | Full-Time & Long-Term Opportunities | Aspire People
Aspire People are looking for experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a recognised Level 2 qualification alongside recent UK-based school experience and who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Assisting with differentiated classroom activities
- Supporting phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
- Helping pupils develop independence and confidence
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs
- Supporting classroom routines and transitions
- Monitoring pupil engagement and feeding back to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification
- Has at least 6 months' UK-based experience within a school
- Previous experience supporting SEND is highly desirable
- Confident working with primary-aged children
- Calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- Reliable and professional
