Full-Time | Primary School Opportunities | Aspire People Aspire People are recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND across primary school settings.

Your tasks

• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEND support
• Supporting pupils to access classroom learning
• Assisting with differentiated activities and interventions
• Supporting pupils with communication, learning and behavioural needs
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback

Requirements

This role is specifically aimed at candidates who hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or relevant SEND qualification and have practical experience working with children in a UK school environment.

• MUST hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning or relevant SEND qualification
• MUST have previous UK school-based experience
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is essential
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
• Confident working with children on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Patient, calm and nurturing approach
• Reliable and professional

The Ideal Candidate

• Level 2 qualified
• Recent UK school experience
• Previous SEND experience within a primary setting
• Good behaviour management and communication skills
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils
• Flexible and adaptable to individual pupil needs
