Are you a recent university graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with children and young people? Aspire People are currently recruiting graduates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants across schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education and build valuable skills for a future career in teaching, educational psychology, counselling, social work or other people-focused professions. I work closely with multiple schools and MATs across North Staffordshire, giving graduates access to a variety of SEN opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural needs
• Helping pupils engage with their learning and develop confidence
• Working alongside teachers and SEN staff
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Helping create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• A university degree or equivalent qualification
• A genuine interest in working with children and young people
• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills
• A patient, positive and approachable personality
• Someone who is reliable, proactive and willing to learn
